The joyful and life-giving love of the family arises from the experience of the joyful and life-giving love of God. The Church’s teaching on the family, therefore, is in itself a joyful act. For that teaching is in the first place the passionate proclamation of the “Gospel of the Family,” the simple yet profound truth that God loves all persons in and through the family [63]. STAY TUNED FOR THE RESCHEDULED DATE OF FATHER PAUL'S PICNIC
IT WILL NOT BE HELD ON AUGUST 20. Sunday, August 20, 2017 Father Paul plans to join us for the 11:15 a.m. Mass on August 20 and then we will have a picnic gathering on the parish grounds. The parish will provide the hamburgers, hot dogs and soft drinks. We will ask parishioners to bring side dishes, desserts etc. August 20 is the third Sunday of the month, which means it is the Food for Families and Friends Sunday Dinner. All those who would attend that dinner are of course most welcome to join the picnic! Sign up sheets for side dishes and attendance will be provided next weekend. | 21 Crafters & Stitchers
