Our parish baptizes approximately 35 children each year. A sponsor couple offers a welcome and an ongoing contact with parish life. Young families raising children certainly can benefit from a friendly contact - someone to listen to their concerns and help them appreciate the blessings of belonging to a parish community. Sponsor couples are asked to attend one baptism preparation session per year and to stay in touch with the families who attend that evening's session.
