St. Vincent’s Youth Group

The ministry creates an atmosphere in which young people can explore their relationship with Christ and His Church.  Young people are supported to grow in faith as they connect with positive role models, ask tough questions, receive the truth of our Catholic faith and are provided opportunities to love and serve others.  Food, fun and faith are offered to 8th through 12th graders on the first and third Sunday of each month from 6:30 to 8 p.m. in the Parish Hall.

(Virtual participation in ProjectYM Live! and Zoom small group discussion takes place weekly on Wednesday evenings until pandemic restrictions are lifted. Our primary source of communication is through the REMIND App.)

Faith experiences for young people

Youth Retreats and Community Experiences Opportunities are available throughout the year to attend retreats locally, across our Diocese and beyond. Young people are encouraged to participate in Christian service to learn servant leadership skills and also to connect with other Catholics to help grow in discipleship.

Opportunities for Service

Parish Youth Team: Adults work as a team to form a community of wisdom and love in order to offer a listening ear and the counsel of friendship to young people. Leaders need to lead an active faith life and have a desire to accompany young people on their journey of faith. Donations of food and beverage are gratefully accepted for youth group gatherings.
